We have High Standards at Barrios Notary Services and we are all about partnering with Notary business owners who have High Standards for themselves.

In order to be assigned to a Loan Signing, you must upload proof of Errors & Omissions Insurance in the amount of $100,000 or more. For General Notary Work coverage of $25,000 or more is required.

Acceptable: Smart looking modest apparel for men and women.

Not Acceptable: leggings, tank tops, jeans or skirts with tears or holes, spaghetti straps.

Arrive Early or On-time

Appropriate attire is required

Acceptable: Make sure you budget the time necessary to arrive ON TIME to the signing appointment.

Can't avoid arriving late? Notary must call the client (and witnesses) at least one hour in advance to inform them of the situation and be sure that a late arrival is workable.

Not Acceptable: Showing up late without calling well in advance. Overbooking that causes continual lateness.

Loan Signings: A minimum of $100,000 coverage is required.

GNW: A minimum of $25,000 is required.

Proof of Surety Bond is required.

Signers must always present a valid ID.

ID must be recorded in Notary log for all Loan Signing assignments and Estate Document signings.

Notaries are strongly encouraged to show a valid ID. After all, we are a total stranger.

Face masks are required only if the client request that we wear one. Otherwise, their use is optional.
